Fodor’s France 1978 versus today’s prices?!
After an interesting trip to Normandy in late summer 2014, I began to consider how prices have changed in France since the introduction of the Euro and also relative to the crisis that the currency has experienced.
Probably everyone who has visited mainland Europe both prior to the Euro and post Euro must have noticed how prices changed rapidly across the continent; cafes and restaurants in the major cities rapidly increasing their prices, those in Seville practically charging the same as those in the boulevards of Paris.
