The Auvergne and the Massif Central in general form some of the most beautiful hillside scenery I've ever seen. If you take the time to drive around and discover it's virtues, you'll be rewarded ten-fold. Hire a decent car though for those twisting hills that turn into mountains at the drop of a hat. These particular images were taken on the border with the Dordogne and include Rocamadour and the Lot valley. The Massif du Cantal, Le Claux, Rocamadour and Oradour sur Glane are included also (includes Limousin region). |
