of London's Docklands These shots cover the Dome, Canary Wharf, and the various docks in the area. You
may think that these huge corporate edifices would detract from
the general ambience
of London, but thankfully their distance from the centre sets them
in a relatively happy
equilibrium. The contrast between the old and new residents is readily
apparent though, with
the locals in their "normal" houses juxtaposed with the
relatively new property owners snapping
up penthouses and apartments "with river views". I doubt
if any one of them forgets to appreciate
the distance from the madding crowds and traffic jams of the west
