Spanish Travel Photography

Spain must have been one of my earliest influences in regards to real travel photography. The country holds such diverse cities and landscapes, that the photographer in almost anyone surges to the fore. Having a country like this on my doorstep has encouraged me to really explore without having to first fly across the globe on a 12 hour flight! Many a travel writer will tell you to avoid the usual destinations and get into the beautiful areas of the interior or to Green Spain in the north. It really can be a glorious country to explore.

It was after visiting Spain several times on photographic expeditions, that I finally started travelling further afield. If it wasn't for the Spanish landscapes, I might never have embarked on my "grander" adventures to Japan or Chile.
