The pictures below show some views from the Giralda tower and the main facades of the cathedral proper.
La Giralda is actually a remnant of the great mosque that predated the cathedral - it was turned into the cathedral following the wars against the Moors. Luckily for the tourists, it provides a magnificent view across Seville that is unrivalled in many cities across Spain.
